I use to hate meatballs but these are pretty bad ass and I enjoy them every time she makes them.

She chops up some poblano peppers and onions.....maybe some garlic too and puts that in the mix with the meatballs. Sears them in the cast iron then throws Prego Tomato sauce on it. THATS RIGHT, fucking Prego. Its the best damn one for real.

Then throw that in the oven for about 15 minutes to finish off the meatballs and heat up the sauce.

I know what you are thinking, "oh my god tomato sauce in the cast iron?!" and relax. I clean it up right away so it doesn't stay in there any longer than it needs too.
